PLACES TO VISIT AND THINGS TO DO

Here you have some recommendations if you are planning to stay in Toledo.

GET TO KNOW TOLEDO

Toledo is the perfect one-day visit city.

It’s known as “the city of three cultures” because of the lasting influence of Christians, Muslims, and Jews who lived together for centuries.

Check out the map which includes points of interest, viewpoints, and charming little streets so you have everything at your fingertips :)

SENDA ECOLÓGICA TRAIL

This is something many tourists don’t know about.

It’s a trail that runs along the Tajo river and the city of Toledo. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful walk surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the city and its bridges. We’ve also included it on the map.

We recommend to enjoy this walk during the morning, when it's still cool.

PUY DU FOU

We couldn’t forget to mention Puy du Fou.

If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a theme park based on the history of Toledo. No roller coasters or anything like that 😂—instead, it’s a recreation of historic Toledo with outdoor theatrical scenes and some pretty cool special effects.

It’s a unique and fun way to experience the city’s history.

Our tip: if you can, get tickets for both the day show and the night show (Sueño de Toledo) — it’s absolutely worth it.

MEDINA MUDEJAR HAMMAM

If you already know the city, here’s a different plan for you.

What about ending your weekend with some Arab baths and a relaxing massage? Sounds good, right? 😏

We loved the experience and have been recommending it ever since.

FOOD AND DRINKS

We’ve included a more extensive list on the map.

For those who love to try local flavors, here are some typical dishes from the area: carcamusa, Toledo-style partridge, venison stew, Castilian soup, pisto manchego, migas manchegas, and manchego cheese. And for those with a sweet tooth: marzipan and toledanas.
